As part of a new position, we are looking for a General Accountant (M/F) to join our existing team of four.
Reporting directly to the Finance and Accounting Manager, within the Administration & Operations Department and in collaboration with the current team, your main tasks and responsibilities will be to:
- manage the company's general accounting, ensuring the reliability and integrity of financial data (general accounting, reconciliations)
- ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations (tax returns)
- playing a key role in the financial closing and reporting processes (consolidation, aggregation of financial statements)
- liaising with accounting firms for the review of foreign branch results
- managing the FEC
- preparing information for external and internal audits
Who we are looking for:
An experienced person with at least 5 years' experience.
The most important thing for us and your fulfilment in this role are your skills and personality:
- you have a thorough understanding of French accounting rules and standards and apply them rigorously
- you have a good knowledge of consolidation rules and are familiar with the main differences in IFRS standards
you have a thorough understanding of tax obligations, which makes you independent and reliable.
- In particular, you have a very good knowledge of VAT rules in the context of international flows and you are a point of reference for VAT
- you have knowledge of internal auditing and are able to draft processes and propose improvements and/or corrective actions
- You are fully proficient in Excel.
- You have a good command of English (written and spoken) to carry out your duties effectively and communicate with the head office in Taiwan and the accounting firms of foreign branches.
- You check the quality and accuracy of your work as you progress, ensuring that errors are detected and corrected proactively.
- You analyse accounting data rigorously and critically in order to detect inconsistencies and make relevant recommendations.
- You are autonomous in managing your tasks while meeting deadlines. You have good teamwork skills.
- You are proactive.
- You have good communication skills and are able to work on projects.
Practical information:
- Position located at 31, rue de la Justice in Vaux-le-Pénil (77000)
- Full-time permanent contract
- 7 hours/day, Monday to Friday (flexible working hours)
- 1 day of remote working per week
- To start as soon as possible

- Fixed gross salary of £3750 - £4000/month
