TiMOTION Awards Scholarship to Environmental Engineering Student

TiMOTION is thrilled to continue our scholarship program in 2018, with another five scholarships available to college students in the fields of Engineering, Ergonomics, or Technology!

Our first scholarship award of 2018 goes to Alex Wittmershaus, a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Alex is pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering, as he has a passion for conservation. He has worked as a Hunter Education Instructor, educating kids and adults on the safe and proper use of firearms and the principles of environmental stewardship. He has also demonstrated a love for conservation through his involvement in trail and highway maintenance, water quality projects, and renewable energy.

Alex’s plan for the future is to work in the field of environmental engineering, focusing specifically on water resources. His more immediate plans include a trip to Ghana, where he will participate in an Engineers Without Borders mission to implement a sustainable engineering project for a community in need. This scholarship award will help him pursue these opportunities to follow his dreams.
