Events and Communication Officer (F/M)

 

Job description:

 

As part of its growth, TiMOTION Europe is looking for an EVENTS AND COMMUNICATION OFFICER (F/M). Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your main mission will be to manage the organization of TiMOTION's participation in various trade shows in Europe. This includes :

1/ Managing the event from A to Z, in line with objectives, established procedures and budget:

  • Organization of around ten trade shows per year in Europe:

- Imagining and conceptualizing the event in collaboration with the sales and business development teams

- Search for, select, brief and conceptualize the stand with the help of the stand designer, in accordance with the company's graphic charter. You are the stand designer's main point of contact.

- Manage orders, inventories and testing of products on display

- Manage relations with event organizers (choice of location, orders, technical elements, badges, etc.)

- Research/reserve hotels and restaurants for participants

- Management of goodies

- Manage shipping/receiving of materials with logistics team

- Organization of internal launch and debriefing meetings, support for sales teams

- Help with booth set-up and dismantling

- Regular exchanges with headquarters marketing team for international events

 

  • Management of all event communication, writing/broadcasting and monitoring of KPIs:

- Social media publications before, during and after trade shows (LinkedIn and Facebook), in coordination with the Digital Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer

- Sending invitations and thank-yous (emailing): database, content, follow-up

- Creation of all types of event-related communication tools (text + visuals) in collaboration with the graphic designer: posters, brochures, flyers, banners, invitations, videos...

- Management of print communication media (orders, stocks, etc.).

 

2/ General communication missions to raise TiMOTION's awareness and help build customer loyalty:

  • Customer communication support

- Management of customer gifts for the festive season

- Goodies made available to the sales force for their customers

- Customer satisfaction survey management and feedback analysis

- Emailing and corporate communication

  • Development of online events, webinars
  • Showroom development support
  • Help with writing editorial content, product sheets and technical documentation, and translation into the 7 European languages in collaboration with the digital marketing manager.
  • Development of partnership dossiers to enhance the company's brand image.
  • Help develop internal communications

 

Your profile:

 

  • 3+ years of higher education or business school, specializing in communication and events
  • 2 years of proven working experience in a similar position
  • Ability to adapt and react quickly
  • Thoroughness and sense of priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Team spirit and interpersonal skills

Your skills:

 

  • Proficient use of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Mailchimp, CRM
  • Experience in communication and event management
  • Good writing skills
  • Industry experience is a plus
  • Good level in Deutsch is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
