Job Title  Sales Engineer

  • Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services and developing new applications

  • Utilize sales expertise to uncover new opportunities, projects or initiatives that require our products and services

  • Add to customer base by meeting with potential clients and educating them on the benefits of our products

  • Close sales by building rapport with potential accounts; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections; preparing contract

  • Manage customers in an efficient manner in order to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Effectively maintain and retain existing customers by building long-term relationships.

  • Perform proactive customer “good will” calls

  • Act as a liaison between TiMOTION Applications Team and the customer

  • Respond to all inquiries and sales requests within specified timeframe

  • Track quote status and sales statistics and submits to Sales Manager for periodic reviews

  • Gather competitive and market intelligence

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations

  • Participate in trade shows, sales meetings and other scheduled events.

  • Travel throughout North America as required. Occasional travel to China for training

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 4 Year Business or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Open to equivalent education and relevant experience

  • Minimum 3 years business to business sales and account management experience

  • Industry experience in Linear Actuation Systems a plus
